What you get with the LoveJan app

LoveJan was built to fix the things that make dating apps exhausting — fake profiles, paywalled hellos, and matches who have never heard of taarof. Here is what is inside:

  • Every member is selfie verified. A quick real-time selfie is captured in the app — not uploaded — before anyone can appear in the feed or send a message. The face you see is the person you will meet.
  • Private photos until you match. Optionally keep your photos hidden until you both say yes — a comfort in a close-knit community where you might know a match’s cousin.
  • Free to join, match, and message. Meeting good people never sits behind a paywall.
  • Cosmic Spark. A playful blend of Persian astrology (برج) and the Chinese zodiac into a 0–100 compatibility score.
  • Smart first-date suggestions. Once you match, the app suggests a first date in a public place — only if you both agree.
  • Persian & local events. Curated community events right in the app, so a match can become a plan.
  • Safety, built in. An in-chat safety center, plus a ride handoff that gets you to a date without ever sharing your home address.

Getting started takes just a few minutes:

  • 1. Download. Get LoveJan free on the App Store and sign in with Apple — no new password to remember.
  • 2. Verify with a selfie. Take a quick real-time selfie in the app. It confirms you are a real person, and it is why everyone you see has done the same.
  • 3. Match and meet. Browse verified profiles, match, and message for free. When it clicks, let the app suggest a first date you will both feel good about.

On Android? We’re on our way

An Android version of LoveJan is in development. If you are on Android, join the waitlist on our homepage and we will email you the moment it is ready. In the meantime, LoveJan is available for iPhone in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Sweden, France, the Netherlands, the UAE, Australia, and more.

Frequently asked questions

Is LoveJan free?

Yes. LoveJan is free to download, and joining, matching, and messaging are all free — there is no charge to say hello to someone you like. It requires an iPhone running iOS 16 or later.

Is LoveJan available on Android?

Not yet — an Android version is in development. Join the waitlist on our homepage and we will notify you when it launches. For now, LoveJan is iPhone-only.

Which countries is LoveJan available in?

LoveJan is available internationally on the App Store — including the US, Canada, the UK, Germany, Sweden, France, the Netherlands, the UAE, and Australia. It is not available in Iran, because Apple does not operate an App Store there.
