Zero-tolerance for objectionable content
By creating a profile you agree to these Terms and to a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You will not post, send, or solicit content that is sexually exploitative of minors, non-consensual, violent or graphic, harassing, hateful, or otherwise objectionable, and you will not impersonate others or post another person's content without consent. We filter content, let users report profiles and messages, and review reports within 24 hours; accounts that violate this policy are suspended and removed. We may remove abusive users or objectionable content without notice. Acceptance is recorded with a timestamp and version.

Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to use LoveJan. Age is verified server-side at signup for all territories. You may not use LoveJan where prohibited by law (see Availability).
Availability and export compliance
LoveJan is not offered in U.S.-embargoed or OFAC comprehensively-sanctioned jurisdictions — including Iran, Cuba, North Korea, Syria, and the sanctioned regions of Ukraine (Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk). Do not use LoveJan from these locations or in violation of applicable sanctions or export-control laws.
Acceptable use and safety
- Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, nudity in previews, impersonation, or minors.
- Block and Report are available in every chat; we review reports and may remove accounts.
- We do not tolerate bots or fake profiles.
Verification
Verification is required to participate. It uses a one-time selfie check — or a human-review alternative that creates no biometric data — to confirm you are a real person and that your selfie matches your profile photo — see Identity verification & biometric data in our Privacy Policy for exactly what is captured, kept, and deleted, and for the biometric consent you provide before any capture. A verified badge means only that this check passed. It is not a criminal background check, an identity guarantee, or an endorsement of any member's character, conduct, or safety — we do not run background checks and cannot vouch for anyone. You remain responsible for your own safety: keep personal and financial details private, and meet in public. Block and Report are always available.
Subscriptions (Premium)
- LoveJan is free to join, with optional Premium subscriptions. Matching and messaging are free and always will be. Premium is optional and unlocks extras such as unlimited likes, see-who-liked-you, advanced filters, Travel Mode, and boost, with flat pricing identical for all users (no gender-based or personalized pricing).
- Billing is handled by Apple through In-App Purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and are manageable or cancellable anytime in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions; renewals charge within 24 hours before the current period ends. Current prices and any introductory offer are always shown in the app before you purchase.
- Early adopters granted founding-member status will retain free access as described in the app.
Content and conduct
You own your content; you grant us a limited license to display it to other users to operate the service. You are responsible for your interactions — meet safely.
Termination
You may delete your account anytime (Settings → Delete account), which removes your data immediately. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Disclaimers and liability
LoveJan is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and limit liability. Nothing limits rights that cannot be waived under your local law.
