LoveJan is built for Persian and Iranian singles. Verification approval is required before a profile can appear in Discover. Eligible profiles can blur previews; people you like can see your originals before a mutual match. The standard route uses a selfie check; members can request human review as described in our Privacy Policy. Verification does not guarantee identity or intentions.
Clear answers before you join
Does LoveJan have a web version?
Yes. The LoveJan web preview lets new members sign in with an email code, create a profile, add photos and submit a browser selfie for verification or request human review. Access depends on verification approval. Existing Apple and Google members should continue using their original mobile sign-in method.
Can I use my existing Apple or Google account on the web?
Apple and Google web sign-in are not currently available in the public build. If you already use LoveJan on your phone, keep using the same method there. Signing in by email on the web can create a separate account without your existing profile, matches or messages.
Can I complete the selfie check in my browser?
You can take and submit a selfie in a supported browser after completing your profile and adding your profile photos, including a main photo. Read the verification notice and give consent before opening the camera. Submitting a selfie does not guarantee approval. Human review is also available on request.
Will my two accounts merge when Apple sign-in becomes available?
No automatic merge is promised. Adding a sign-in method and merging accounts are different operations. If you have already created separate accounts, contact support@lovejan.app before changing your profile or repeating verification.
What does LoveJan's selfie check mean?
It is a step to help check that the person taking the selfie matches their profile. Verification cannot guarantee someone's intentions or eliminate scams. Use the safety guide, meet in a public place and report suspicious behaviour.
